FX Fearless

When FX Network was undergoing a brand evolution and needed help defining what that felt like, they came to SLAQR. Together, we developed a visual language that helped to unlock their new brand manifesto.

Our inspiration came from far outside the scope of just the network’s shows. We looked outward to nature and inward to our deepest inspirations, prolific visionaries like James Baldwin and composers like Caroline Shaw, to get at the heart of artistic expression. The outcome was a visual piece dedicated to the power and importance of storytelling.

The SLAQR team completed the first Manifesto in 2018 and then evolved it again in 2020. Both Fearless pieces went on to be individual Emmy campaigns and were the inspiration for a Disney Daydream brand tape we created for Bob Iger during the Disney/Fox merger.
